IMD Predicts More Rain in East and South Telangana
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted continued rainfall over the next couple of hours in eastern and southern Telangana. Hyderabad city is also expected to experience light to moderate rainfall. The sudden downpour has brought some respite from the scorching summer heat but has also raised concerns about traffic congestion and waterlogging.

On April 3, Hyderabad experienced heavy rain from noon onward, submerging several areas of the city. Commuters were left stranded as traffic came to a standstill during peak evening hours. Office-goers especially faced difficulties while returning home due to flooded roads and stalled vehicles.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed police officials to ensure that traffic movement remains smooth across the city during such weather events. GHMC authorities have been directed to remain vigilant and take immediate action wherever waterlogging is reported to minimize inconvenience to the public.
