Hyderabad Met Explains Weather System Behind Telangana Rains
According to the Hyderabad Meteorological Centre, the monsoon trough at mean sea level currently passes through Jaisalmer, Kota, Guna, Damoh, Daltonganj, and Kantai, before extending southeastwards towards the northeast Bay of Bengal.
The department said the trough extends up to an altitude of 3.1 km above mean sea level and tilts southward with height. It also noted that the windshear at 22 degrees north latitude, which was present yesterday, has moved further north.
Under the influence of these weather systems, Telangana is expected to receive rainfall for the next three days.
