Niyaz Khan also took a dig at Hyderabad MP and MIM Supremo Asaduddin Owaisi saying “Owaisi ji is silent on the issue. Please speak on human issues, not only during elections. Niyaz Khan has also shown his presence in the Karnataka hijab controversy. Niyaz advocated for hijab for the safety of life and protection from pollution. Appealing to encourage hijab, he called it helpful in protection from corona.

He wrote: “Why so much controversy in hijab or naqab? Corona told us the importance of hijab that could only save life. Hijab also saves you from air pollution. So, covering face gives double advantage, so encourage hijab to protect citizens from Corona and air pollution”
