Hyderabad: The police busted an IPL (Indian Premier League) betting racket being operated in the city on Wednesday.
The Special Operations Team of the Cyberabad police conducted raids at several places where the betting on the ongoing IPL matches was being held.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravinder said that on specific information, the raids were conducted and arrested 23 people and seized property worth Rs.2.2 crore including Rs.93 lakh in cash.
