It’s doubtful Harish Rao to continue in BRS after Lok Sabha polls: Komatireddy
Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said it is doubtful that former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao will continue in the party after the Parliament elections.
Hyderabad: Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said it is doubtful that former minister and BRS leader Harish Rao will continue in the party after the Parliament elections.
Speaking to the media in the district on Wednesday, the Minister alleged that Harish Rao was in contacts with the Bharatiya Janatha Party leaders and one day, he would definitely join the BJP.
He also slammed former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao for failing to discharge his duties as the leader of Opposition in the State.
“KCR doesn’t have guts to face Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in the Assembly. Moreover, he is facing a tough situation as all the leaders are leaving the party one by one. If we include BRS party MLAs like KCR, nobody will be in the BRS party,” he pointed out.
The Minister also slammed BRS president K Chandrashekar for forging an alliance with BSP leader RS Praveen Kumar and said that KCR doesn’t have the face to show the people, that’s reason he is touching the feet of BSP leader.
He also clarified that LRS guidelines have not been prepared so far and there is no reason to criticise the State government by the Opposition party.
Komatireddy said if Congress leader Rahul Gandhi contests from Telangana in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, he will get more majority than Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is contesting from Varanasi in Uttam Pradesh.
