Hyderabad: The legislative party meeting of the ruling TRS party in Telangana will be held on October 5 at the party’s headquarters, Telangana Bhawan, on Vijaya Dasami.
On the occasion, the party chief and Chief Minister of Telangana Chandrashekhar Rao is expected to launch his national party.
The announcement is likely to be made on October 5 at 1:19 PM. His new national party will be called Bharata Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
Following the meeting, the names of the coordinators of the party will be revealed.
Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao plans to launch this new national party to campaign against the BJP at the national level. The Chief Minister had earlier indicated to work with like-minded parties.
The agenda of the party is likely to include providing free electricity to all the farmers of the country, nationwide expansion of Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima schemes being implemented in Telangana.
However, there is no official statement from the party on the to-be-launched nation party – Bharata Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
Rao is also expected to convene a public meeting in Delhi in the second week of October.
