A South-Central Railway statement said on Wednesday, the event will be attended by various dignitaries, including Telangana Forest Minister Konda Surekha, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Zilla Parja Parishad Chairperson V Roja Radhakrishna Sharma, MLCs K Raghotham Reddy, T. Jeevan Reddy, V Yadava Reddy, Deshapathi Srinivas, and Dr P Rajeshwar Reddy.
South Central Railway General Manager Arun Kumar and other senior Railway officials will also be present.
The new halt station in Siddipet District, central Telangana, aims to provide train connectivity to Komuravelli village, known for the Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple.
Once the Manoharabad – Kothapalli railway line is completed, the station will link important pilgrim places, fostering social-economic development in the region, the statement added.
