Hyderabad: BRS Working President and former Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) has called on the state government to execute the Layout Regularization Scheme (LRS) without any charges.
In an open letter addressed to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, KTR emphasised the need for implementing LRS free of cost, citing previous assurances made by fellow ministers, including the Chief Minister himself.
KTR further insisted on a public apology for the alleged breaking of promises or misleading statements made to the public.
Addressing the Chief Minister, KTR questioned the characterisation of LRS as exploitation, urging an explanation for the perceived exploitation faced by the people today.
Highlighting their role as the main opposition, KTR conveyed the people’s demands through protest programs and petitions submitted to the government.
Requesting the Chief Minister to issue guidelines for the free implementation of LRS in response to public demand, KTR referenced past assurances made by Congress party leaders.
