Nagaraju, the 25-year-old car salesman was beaten and stabbed to death on Wednesday. B Nagaraju and Syed Ashrin Sulthana had married three months ago.
The attack was caught on security cameras and mobile phones of the witnesses. Two persons have been arrested in this connection.
Nagaraju and Sulthana had known each other since Class 10 but her family was dead opposed to her marrying outside her faith. Defying her family, they had an Arya Samaj wedding on January 31.
