Saudi government has imposed another new restriction on travelers

The Saudi government has issued new travel directives for travelers coming from around the world to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Aviation has informed all airlines, agencies, and travel agents of the new travel directives, under which travelers holding passports valid for less than 6 months will be returned.

Airlines have been instructed to deny boarding to any passenger whose passport validity is less than 6 months. This decision will apply to all types of visas, including visit visas, business visas, tourist visas, etc.

It is worth noting that as soon as the moon of Sha’ban is sighted, pilgrims from all over the world turn towards Saudi Arabia, and this number increases significantly during Ramadan. In just one week this month, 5.5 million pilgrims attended the Prophet’s Mosque.
