Hyderabad: Due to huge demand and long waiting in appointment availability, PSP Division in Ministry of External Affairs has decided to conduct special passport drives at five Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) in Telangana from April 29.
The passport drives will take place at Begumpet, Ameerpet, and Tolichowki PSKS here and one each in Karimnagar and Nizamabad PSKs under Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad.
A RPO release on Wednesday said, a total of 3056 appointments, under all categories like Tatkal, Normal, and PCC will be released for the first special drive, to be conducted on Saturday.
The appointments for the coming Saturday would be released in the Passport Seva website at 1600 hours on Thursday.
All applicants, both registering now/desiring to reschedule their appointment and make use of this facility through www.passportindia.gov.in/mPassportseva app and attend the respective PSKs where their slots are booked.
Prior appointment is mandatory, and no walk-in requests will be entertained at PSKs/POPSKS.
All applicants are advised not to approach middlemen, touts, or brokers for their passport and passport-related requirements and to make use of this special measure.
