Hyderabad: The GCPE Domalguda grounds came alive with fervor as the inaugural ceremony of Modern Kabaddi for Men & Women took place amidst great enthusiasm. Organized collaboratively by Modern Kabaddi and GCPE Domalguda, the event marked a significant milestone in the sports arena.
Dr. K. Ram Reddy, the visionary behind the modern Kabaddi format, graced the occasion as the founder, inventor, and president of the game. His dedication and passion for the sport have been instrumental in bringing it to the forefront of the sporting scene.
The inauguration was a grand affair, with esteemed personalities from various fields adding prestige to the event. Sri. Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLC and TPCC working president, took the honor of inaugurating the modern Kabaddi matches.
Joining him were dignitaries like Sri. Byakkani Srishailam Yadav, MD of Emarald Group of Constructions, and Dr. Ch. Raja Rao, alongside other notable figures including T. Vijaya Sagar, the TGPETA State President, Jagan Mohan Goud, an International Hand Player, and M. Kumar, the Gen Sec of MKFI in India.
Also present were T. Ravi and Dr. G. Madhavi Bandari, representing GCPE faculty, students, and other enthusiasts.
