Telangana assembly budget session extends to 8th day; white papers on power & irrigation to be released

Hyderabad: The Telangana Legislative Assembly’s budget session entered its eighth day on Saturday, commencing at 1000 hours.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti released a white paper on power during the session, followed by a brief discussion.
A white paper on the irrigation department is also scheduled today with a subsequent brief discussion.
The government is scheduled to deliver a PowerPoint presentation on irrigation water, utilising special screens arranged in the assembly.
The discussion on irrigation water, initially planned for yesterday, has been rescheduled for Saturday.
The budget session is expected to conclude later Saturday.
