Revanth conducted a review of the Musi Riverfront Development Project with officials at the Nanakramguda HMDA office here.
During the meeting, the officials explained to the Chief Minister the location sketch of Musi River boundaries and other important details.
The CM directed the officials to complete the exercise to start the Musi Riverfront development project as soon as possible.
The officials have been asked to clean up the entire Musi before starting the work.
The Chief Minister also suggested dividing the work between the officials to take up the Musi development work at a fast pace.
Giving top priority to Hyderabad Development, the Congress government has allocated Rs 1,000 crore for the Musi riverfront development project in the vote-on-account budget for the 2024–2025 financial year.
The government plans to develop pedestrian zones, people’s plazas, and heritage zones in the old city as part of the Musi River Front Project.
The aim is to transform the River Musi and its catchment area into an environment-friendly zone. The project also includes protecting cultural heritage places.
