In a public meeting titled “Praja Deevena Sabha” (People’s Blessings Meeting) held in Manuguru on Monday evening, CM Revanth Reddy warned that if Congress were to open the gates, no one from BRS would remain except former CM KCR and his family members.

Highlighting the significance of the Indiramma Housing Scheme in Bhadrachalam, aiming to construct 4.5 lakh houses with an expenditure of Rs 22,500 crore, CM Revanth Reddy affirmed Khammam district’s stronghold for the Congress.

He noted the party’s success in winning nine out of ten assembly seats in the area and expressed confidence in winning 14 MP seats in the state.

Accusing former CM KCR of breaking numerous promises, CM Revanth Reddy asserted that BRS has been rejected by the people of Khammam in the past three elections.

Acknowledging the dynamism of Khammam district, CM Revanth Reddy pointed out the elevation of Renuka Chaudhary and Balram Naik as Union Ministers from the region.

He highlighted the Congress High Command’s recognition of the district’s significance by allocating the MP seat of Mahabubabad to Balram Naik Porika out of 39 MP seats in the country.

Emphasising Sonia Gandhi’s six guarantee schemes designed to improve the lives of Telangana residents, CM Revanth Reddy assured that the Congress would take responsibility for completing pending works related to the Sitarama project, Karakatta, and Pulusu Bontha projects, underscoring the party’s commitment to development and welfare.

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister offered prayers to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in Yadadri and Seetha Ramachandra Swamy in Bhadrachalam. He also launched the Indiramma Housing Scheme in Bhadrachalam.
