Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy issued a stern warning, stating that individuals hindering development would face a boycott from the city.
The caution came during the inauguration of the second level of the flyover at Bairamalguda junction in L B Nagar Constituency, constructed at a cost of Rs 148.05 crore.
Reddy announced plans to expand the metro train network to meet the growing needs of the city, extending services up to Shamshabad Airport.
He highlighted the extension of the metro from LB Nagar to Hayathnagar and revealed future developments, including the construction of the High Court in Rajendranagar and the expansion of the metro to that area. Reddy also outlined the modernization plans for the Moosi River.
Acknowledging the Congress government’s contribution, Reddy mentioned the construction of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) around Hyderabad and the establishment of Shamshabad Airport.
He said that all the Municipalities within ORR will be merged into the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) region.
Stating that the Vibrant Telangana 2050 master plan was prepared, Reddy expressed confidence in the state’s future development with the proposed Regional Ring Road (RRR).
In response to concerns about hindrances in the old city’s metro project, the Chief Minister cautioned against disruptions and warned individuals attempting to impede the project. He mentioned recent attempts to stop the old city metro and issued a pre-emptive warning against those disturbing the development.
