Telangana Government Declares Sankranti Holidays
The Directorate of School Education has issued a statement in this regard. Which states that these Sankranti holidays will be applicable to all schools except government schools.
Hyderabad: The Telangana government has given good news to the students of the state. A 6-day holiday has been announced on the occasion of the festival of Sankranti. Holidays have been announced from January 12 to January 17.

Holidays commencing from January 12 in Telangana school break on the 13th, Bhogi Mela on Sunday, Sankranti on the 15th, Kanuma on the 16th, and an additional school holiday on the 17th.
Sankranti holidays have been announced for a total of six days in educational institutions. The statement said that on 18th all educational institutions will open as usual.
