Telangana Govt. alert on increasing Covid cases

The High Court took up the hearing today, said that the cases are increasing; hence there is a need for increasing the number of medical tests and taking up precautionary measures. 

Hyderabad: The High Court of Telangana has put the state government on High Alert due to increasing cases of coronavirus.

The High Court has directed the state government in its order to increase the medical tests and also directed to give the detailed report on the precautionary measures taken and the matter was posted to June 22. 

The High Court took up the hearing today, said that the cases are increasing; hence there is a need for increasing the number of medical tests and taking up precautionary measures. 

The state sees a surge in the active Covid cases in the past one week. The cases have increased by 36 per cent. The number of active cases in the State was 481 on June 1 and now the tally has reached to 658 on June 7. 

As on May 1, the count was 335. Hyderabad witnessed a surge in the daily count of Covid-19 cases on Tuesday. The count was 79 on June 7 out of the total 119 positive cases in the state. 

Although, the daily count of Covid cases and active cases are increasing in Hyderabad and other districts of the state, no death has been reported in the month of June.
