Karimnagar: Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister, Capt N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, declared that the state government is set to issue new ration cards shortly.
In his capacity as the in-charge Minister of the district, Uttam Kumar Reddy held a preparatory meeting with district officials on Prajapalana at Karimnagar Collectorate on Wednesday, directing officials to transparently process applications during the upcoming gram sabhas scheduled from Thursday to January 6.
Highlighting the government’s commitment, Uttam Kumar Reddy emphasized the swift implementation of six guarantees within the next 100 days.
He instructed officers to be available around the clock to facilitate a seamless application process. Additionally, he disclosed plans to inspect the Medigadda barrage of the Kaleswam project on December 29.
IT and Industry Minister, Duddilla Shradhar Babu, shared that two guarantees under the Abhaya Hastam initiative have already been implemented, and efforts are underway to gather applications from the public for the remaining guarantees.
Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar urged authorities not to reject any application received from the public, emphasizing that the government will make the final decisions on these applications.
The announcements underscore the government’s proactive stance in delivering essential services and implementing welfare measures, ensuring transparency and accessibility in the application processes for ration cards and other initiatives.
