TPCC criticises BRS party’s alliance with BSP, questions KCR’s leadership

Hyderabad: G Niranjan, Senior Vice President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), expressed concerns over the BRS party’s alliance with BSP, citing it as evidence of the party’s weakness.
In a media statement on Wednesday, Niranjan expressed dissatisfaction with the ongoing departure of party leaders, suggesting a struggle by former Chief Minister and BRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to salvage the party’s integrity.
Drawing an analogy, he compared the party to a car in such a dire state that it requires external assistance to move forward—a situation that reflects poorly even on R S Praveen Kumar (BSP), known for his commitment and integrity.
Niranjan questioned the motives behind the alliance, speculating whether it was due to KCR’s failure to fulfill promises, such as appointing a Dalit CM or providing three acres of land to Dalits after the formation of Telangana.
Expressing doubt about KCR’s credibility, Niranjan warned that as long as KCR remains in power, allegations of corruption in the Kaleswaram project and the sheep and cow scam would continue to haunt him.
