Workshop on ODL Programmes held at MANUU

Prof. Razaullah Khan, Director I/c, DDE delivered the presidential remarks and outlined the objectives, importance, and relevance of the workshop.

Hyderabad: The Directorate of Distance Education, Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) organized a workshop on “Development of Programme Guides for ODL Programmes” on December 3, 2021, at DDE Library.

Thirty-Nine faculty and staff members of DDE, MANUU attended the Programme.

The speaker of the programme, Prof. V. Venkaiah, Former Vice-Chancellor, Krishna University, Andhra Pradesh and Advisor, DDE, MANUU presented a rosy picture of distance education and emphasized the role and importance of open and distance learning (ODL). He highlighted the difference between outcome and output of learning.

Participants asked several questions regarding ODL programmes and the importance of online classes. E certificates were also distributed to them.

Dr. Ishtiyaq Ahmad, Assistant Professor (Public Administration) and Convener, STRAQ Unit, DDE, MANUU conducted the programme. Dr. Sadat Shareef, Assistant Professor (Commerce), DDE proposed a vote of thanks.
