67th HDSGF Volleyball Tournament and SGF Chess Results Showcase Youth Sporting Excellence

Hyderabad: In an action-packed day of youth sports, the U-14 Girls Basketball tournament saw some exciting matchups. Here are the results:

  • H.P.S Begumpet triumphed over All Saints with a score of 20-06.
  • DPS Secbad emerged victorious against St. Peeter (Bowenpally) with a score of 14-02.
  • St. Francis School secured a win against St. Antoys School with a score of 12-4.
  • MGM School overcame Boys Town School with a score of 10-06.
  • Holy Family School outplayed St. Pous (Ramnagar) with a score of 12-04.

In the SGF Chess competition, young chess enthusiasts showcased their skills with the following results:

U-17 Boys:

  1. Lakshith (St. Peters High School, Bowenpally)
  2. Avinash Krishna (Diamond Jubilee H.S)

U-17 Girls:

  1. Sri Shanthi (Jubilee HS)

U-14 Boys:

Additionally, the 67th SGF Inter School Volleyball Tournament for Boys & Girls (U-14 and U-17) is underway at L.B. Stadium, Hyderabad, from September 12th to 14th, 2023. Here are some of the latest results:

Girls Results:

  1. TSRS Borabanda defeated TMREIS Asifnagar with a score of 15-03, 15-03.
  2. GBHS B.R. Bollarum beat SSSVV Amberpet with a score of 15-05, 15-04.
  3. State The School secured victory over LFHS, Kavadiguda, with a score of 15-12, 15-18.
  4. Army Public School Golconda triumphed over Progress HS. Bahadrapur with a score of 15-11, 15-04.
  5. St. Anthony’s, Secunderabad, overcame BVBPS, Jubilee Hills, with a score of 15-12, 15-18.
  6. St. Pious, Ramnagar, defeated TMREIS, Bahadurpura, with a score of 15-07, 15-03.
  7. Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally, outplayed GBHS, Thirumalagiri, with a score of 15-05, 15-03.
  8. Holy Mary, Masab Tank, secured a victory against St. Francis, Secunderabad, with a score of 15-05, 15-09.

In the U-14 Girls category, TMREIS Asifnagar beat BVB Jubilee Hills with a score of 10-15, 15-14, 15-13, while St. Pious High School secured a win against Holy Mary with a score of 15-11, 15-12, 15-13. St. Anthony’s triumphed over GBHS Thirumalagiri with a score of 15-13, 15-6, and St. Francis defeated Little Flower with a score of 15-3, 15-5.

The MGM School (green) won against Boys Town School (red) with a score of 10-06, showcasing their prowess on the basketball court.
