Nagarkurnool DEO Debunks Rumours on CM Revanth Reddy’s Voter Registration, Says No Enrolment in District

Nagarkurnool DEO has clarified that Chief Minister Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy is not registered as a voter in Achampet Assembly Constituency or anywhere in Nagarkurnool district and denied rumours of double voting.

The District Election Officer (DEO), Nagarkurnool, has issued an official clarification denying false information circulating on social media regarding the voter status of Chief Minister Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy. The DEO stated that, as of July 14, 2026, Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy is not registered as a voter in the Achampet Assembly Constituency or anywhere else in Nagarkurnool district. The clarification also stated that there is no case of double voting or dual voter enrolment involving the Chief Minister in the district.

DEO Issues Clarification on Voter Registration Rumours

In a press note issued by the District Election Officer (Nagarkurnool), officials said it had come to the notice of the undersigned that false information was being circulated on social media regarding the voter status of Honourable Chief Minister Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy in Nagarkurnool district.

The clarification was issued concerning the district’s jurisdiction.

No Voter Registration for Revanth Reddy in Nagarkurnool District

The District Election Officer clarified that:

  • There is no voter registration for Sri Anumula Revanth Reddy in the Achampet Assembly Constituency or anywhere within Nagarkurnool district as on July 14, 2026.
  • There is absolutely no case of double voting or dual enrolment in Nagarkurnool district in this particular case.

No Enumeration Form Printing or Distribution

The DEO further clarified that since there is no voter enrolment in Nagarkurnool district, the question of Enumeration Form printing and distribution under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process does not arise.

The clarification was issued in response to rumours circulating on social media.

Citizens Urged Not to Spread Rumours

The District Election Officer appealed to the public not to believe or spread baseless rumours related to the voter registration issue.
