Sridhar Babu Says Telangana Government Schools Will Be Developed on Par with Corporate Institutions

Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu said the state government is committed to developing government schools on par with corporate educational institutions. Speaking after inaugurating the Foundation for Democratic Reforms (FDR) Science Centre at the ZP Girls’ High School in Alwal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, the Minister said the government is giving priority to the education and healthcare sectors while promoting scientific temper, creativity, innovation and skill development among students.

Government Prioritising Education, Healthcare and Innovation

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the Foundation for Democratic Reforms (FDR) Science Centre at ZP Girls’ High School in Alwal, Medchal-Malkajgiri district, on Wednesday, Sridhar Babu said the Telangana government is committed to strengthening government schools so they can match corporate educational institutions.

He said the government is according priority to the education and healthcare sectors while encouraging students to develop scientific temper and creativity.

The Minister said Telangana is creating an ecosystem that promotes innovation and supports young people in converting their ideas into products with societal applications.

He added that institutions such as T-Hub, T-Works and WE-Hub are providing support to innovators across the state.

Sridhar Babu Urges Students to Develop Scientific Outlook

Emphasising the growing importance of innovation and skills, Sridhar Babu urged students to cultivate a scientific outlook by questioning, exploring and finding solutions to real-life problems.

He encouraged students to think creatively and develop practical ideas that can benefit society.

Appeal to Expand Science Centres in Government Schools

The Minister appealed to the Foundation for Democratic Reforms (FDR) to establish similar science centres in government schools across Telangana.

He assured the organisation of the Telangana government’s full support for the initiative.
