Bangalore: Former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has alleged that the Agni Path scheme is a secret agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Singh (RSS) to control the Indian Army. He said that Agni Veer would become an RSS worker in and out of the army and would continue to be a worker even after the termination of his services.
Former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy asked “Will RSS leaders recruit them or the army?” In a highly controversial allegation, he said, “Now the 10 lakh people who will be recruited, maybe they could push RSS karyakartas into the army. They may setup 2.5 lakh RSS workers in the army and their hidden agenda is that the 75% who will be sent out with 11 lakh rupees. They’ll spread across the country.” India Today reported.
Calling the scheme a “RSS’s Agnipath,”, Kumaraswamy reminded that the RSS was set up in Germany during Hitler’s Nazi regime.
