At Least 40 Lives Lost in Southern Gaza Due to Israeli Bombing

The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 25,295, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Monday.

Gaza: At least 40 Palestinians were killed in Israeli continuous bombing on the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis on Monday, according to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The western areas of the city were violently bombarded by Israeli warplanes and artillery while Palestinian militants and the Israeli army engaged in fierce fighting, eyewitnesses said, adding thousands of displaced Palestinians live in those areas.

The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 25,295, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Monday.

The ministry said in a press statement that the Israeli army killed 190 Palestinians and wounded 340 others during the past 24 hours.

It added that the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict has wounded at least 63,000 Palestinians since its outbreak on Oct. 7, 2023, noting that a large number of victims were still under the rubble as ambulance and civil defense crews could not reach them.
