Avoid Omicron Fear, Protocols Followed in Schools: Sabitha

The Minister said that the parents and people should avoid false propaganda in the social media on the cases and omicron effect. There is no omicron effect now and the government is ready with all measures to check the same, she assured.

Hyderabad: Telangana Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy today said that the schools and colleges are taking all measures to check corona or its variant Omicron in the state. The Minister appealed that the parents should avoid fear and doubts in the schools and colleges.

The Minister said that the parents and people should avoid false propaganda in the social media on the cases and omicron effect. There is no omicron effect now and the government is ready with all measures to check the same, she assured.

The students have already lost two academic years due to previous corona pandemic and now they must go to institutions to pursue their studies, the Minister said. Keeping this situation in view the parents should avoid fear or doubts and send their wards for studies, she appealed.

All measures have been taken at these institutions in the state to follow corona protocols. She directed the officials to take steps to offer vaccination to the staff, students and follow corona protocols. The local leaders should take steps to ensure that the parents take two doses of vaccination.

Without any fear or doubt the parents can send their children to the schools and colleges she called upon. The Minister stated that the Government made all arrangements at the institutions following corona protocols such as sanitizing the premises and wearing masks.

All the premises of the schools and the colleges are following corona protocols and the parents should avoid fear, the minister reiterated.
