Bajireddy Goverdhan takes charge as TSRTC Chairman

Soon after assuming the charge, Baji Reddy Goverdhan said that there is no proposal to sell RTC assets in the manner like the Central government doing to the Railways.

Hyderabad: Nizamabad Rural MLA Bajireddy Goverdhan took charge as the new Chairman of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) at Bus Bhavan here today.

Minister for Road and Buildings V. Prashanth Reddy, MP Suresh Reddy, PUC Chairman Jeevan Reddy, MLC K. Kavitha and other elected public representatives was present in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said that on behalf of the people of Nizamabad, I thanked Chief Minister K.Chandrasehkar Rao for giving state level prominence by appointing Nizamabad rural MLA Bajireddy Goverdhan as the TSRTC Chairman.

“Under the guidance of the Chief Minister KCR and leadership of Bajireddy Goverdhan, I am sure TSRTC will deliver quality services to people, besides driving on the development path, said Kavitha. 

Soon after assuming the charge as the Chairman of TSRTC, Baji Reddy Goverdhan said that there is no proposal to sell RTC assets in the manner in which the Central government doing to the Railway Assets.

He said to bring out TSRTC from the debts, the government is taking all steps and even appointed a Managing Director for the Corporation, he said. (Munsif News Bureau)
