BRS Bhadrachalam MLA meets CM Revanth

Hyderabad: With the Lok Sabha elections fast approaching, the political churning in Telangana has begun. The meeting of opposition party MLAs with the ruling party leader has become a hot topic.

Bhadrachalam BRS MLA Tellam Venkata Rao along with his family members called on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence here on Sunday. Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy was also present at the time of BRS MLA meeting with the Chief Minister.

Amidst speculations that he is changing the party, it is the second time that the BRS MLA is meeting the Chief Minister after the Assembly results.

Later, speaking to the media, the BRS MLA said that he had discussed various issues, including the development of Bhadrachalam temple, demand of re-merging five Gram panchayats into Telangana and dedicated dumping yard in Bhadrachalam town.             

However, Tellam Venkata Rao didn’t not give a clarity on the speculations circulating on social media about his switch to Congress. The BRS MLA said that he had met the Chief Minister to discuss about the development issues of Bhadrachalam.
