Hyderabad: Campaigning in Kamareddy Constituency, from where CM KCR is contesting, KTR said, “Current wires were used to dry clothes during Congress governance, but now we fear touching them.”
He also said that Congress has no moral right to talk about the current supply in the state, as that party failed to provide a quality power supply even for a few hours a day.
KTR said that the situation in the state had changed after KCR became Chief Minister. While speaking at the roadshow, KTR stated that there were beedi workers in 16 states, but Telangana is the only state where they are given pensions.
KTR stated that there was a Rs 200 pension during the Congress governance, but after state formation in 2014, CM KCR became CM and gave a Rs 2000 pension, which was 10 times more. He further stated that the pension amount would be increased to Rs 5,000 after KCR becomes CM for the third time.
Ridiculing the Congress party for their ignorance of the farming sector, KTR said that Congress leaders felt Rythu Bandhu was a waste and wanted to remove Dharani and bring the Patwari system into place. He asked the people to reject such leaders and vote for BRS, the party working for the welfare of farmers in the state.
KTR criticized the statement of Congress leader Revanth Reddy, who was talking about providing only a three-hour power supply to the farmers who could use 10 pH pump sets in their fields. KTR stated that the Congress leaders were ignorant and had no knowledge of the farming sector.
KTR stated that the Kamareddy constituency will see a complete transformation as CM KCR was contesting from here. He asked the people whether Rahul Gandhi or PM Modi would love Telangana as much as CM KCR does.
KTR appealed to vote for BRS and elect CM KCR with a big majority.
