Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Alleges Conspiracy to Delete Congress Voters’ Names, Appeals to Complete SIR Registration

Revanth Reddy alleged that attempts were being made to remove Congress supporters from the electoral rolls through the SIR process. He expressed concern over the pace of voter registration in his Assembly constituency, stating that the situation in Kodangal was worrying.

Kodangal: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday alleged that a conspiracy was being hatched to politically target him while he remained occupied with governance. He made the remarks after participating in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process and submitting his voter registration form in Kodangal.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said he works for nearly 18 hours a day, yet feels there is never enough time to address all governance-related responsibilities.

Revanth Reddy alleged that attempts were being made to remove Congress supporters from the electoral rolls through the SIR process. He expressed concern over the pace of voter registration in his Assembly constituency, stating that the situation in Kodangal was worrying.

According to the Chief Minister, 78 percent of eligible voters have completed the SIR registration process so far, while 22 percent are yet to register. He warned that if the remaining voters fail to complete the process, it could have a serious impact on the electoral prospects of the constituency.

He appealed to all eligible voters, particularly Congress supporters, to actively participate in the SIR process and ensure their names remain on the electoral rolls by submitting the required forms within the stipulated time.
