Criminal case filed against former minister Malla Reddy

A case has been registered against former minister and BRS party MLA Ch. Malla Reddy in Shamirpet police station.

Hyderabad: A case has been registered against former minister and BRS party MLA Ch. Malla Reddy in Shamirpet police station.

The complaint was lodged with an allegation that Malla Reddy had encroached 42 acres of land belonging to tribals.

The Police registered a case on the complaint against Malla Reddy under prevention of atrocities against SC, ST Act and started investigation against the former minister.

The victims complained that the accused illegally registered the tribal lands overnight during the time of the recent assembly elections.

In the past too, there were accusations of land grabbing against Malla Reddy. Cases have also been registered in this regard.

It is worth noting that after the defeat of the BRS party, the fresh case has been registered on the allegation of land grabbing against Malla Reddy. It is a known fact that Malla Reddy won as MLA from Medchal in the recent assembly elections.
