Cyclonic circulation forms over southeast Bay of Bengal & neighbourhood : IMD

Hyderabad/New Delhi: A Cyclonic circulation has formed and lay over southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood extending up to middle tropospheric level at 0830 hours on Saturday.

Hyderabad/New Delhi: A Cyclonic circulation has formed and lay over southeast Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood extending up to middle tropospheric level at 0830 hours on Saturday.

Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over the same region by the morning on Monday, India Meteorological Department said in a release a short while ago.

It is likely to concentrate into a depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal around Tuesday. Thereafter, it is likely to intensify into a ‘Cyclonic Storm’ while moving nearly northwards towards Central Bay of Bengal.

The system is under constant watch and being monitored regularly, the release added.
