Hyderabad: In a tragic incident occurred at Amberpet, a daughter named Nikitha took drastic action against her alcoholic father, Jagadish, due to his frequent admonishments.
Nikitha slashed her father’s throat with a broken glass piece on Saturday night.
Although he was rushed to the hospital for treatment, Jagadish sadly passed away in the early hours of Sunday.
The police are investigating the case and have registered a murder charge against Nikitha.
Prior to this unfortunate event, Jagadish, a daily wage laborer, resided with his wife Satyamma and Nikitha, who worked at a fruit stall. Their strained relationship often led to quarrels, with Jagadish criticizing Nikitha for returning late from work, creating a tense environment at home.
