Hyderabad:ย The officials of the Forest department has imposed a fine of Rs. 4 lakh on a realtor for cutting down 65 trees without prior permission at Chilkur of Moinabad mandal.
The Forest officials said that realtor has removed the trees indiscriminately without seeking permission from the department.
Based on the complaint from the locals, the officials inspected the site and imposed fineย under the provision of WALTA act.ย In addition to fine, the officials also directed the realtor company to plant saplings and protect them.
