On Saturday, a fire erupted from a borewell in Rajolu, located in the Ambedkar Konaseema District of Andhra Pradesh. The fire was reportedly caused by a gas leak. Upon receiving the information, officials from ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Corporation) and firefighters swiftly arrived at the scene to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, there were no reports of any casualties resulting from the incident.
The ONGC officials and firefighters present at the site diligently worked to extinguish the fire and commenced an investigation to determine the cause of the gas release from the well. It appears that the gas leakage occurred as a consequence of recent boreholes that were dug for water in the aqua ponds. This unfortunate accident led to the subsequent outbreak of the fire. Thankfully, the incident occurred far away from residential areas, providing a sense of relief to the villagers.
