Food Poisoning at Suryapet Government Nursing College Hostel; 13 Female Students Hospitalised

Suryapet: Thirteen female students of the Government Nursing College Hostel in Suryapet fell ill after a suspected case of food poisoning, prompting their admission to the Suryapet Area Hospital for treatment.

According to reports, the students complained of severe stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhoea shortly after consuming food at the hostel. They were initially provided first aid before being shifted to the hospital as their condition required further medical attention.

The incident has raised concerns among students, who alleged that several hostel residents had been suffering from fevers and other health issues in recent days, but claimed that the hostel management had failed to take adequate preventive measures.
