GMR ‘Hyderabad Airport Run’ kicks off; 4,000 runners participate
The third edition of ‘Hyderabad Airport Run’, organized by GMR led Hyderabad International Airport kicked off on Saturday.
Hyderabad: The third edition of ‘Hyderabad Airport Run’, organized by GMR led Hyderabad International Airport kicked off on Saturday.
The Airport run soared to new heights with around 4,000 enthusiastic runners hitting the tracks in the 5k and 10k run.
Mr. S G Kishore ED – South & Mr. Pradeep Panicker CEO-GHIAL flagged off the run.
This year, the event had six categories –14 to 39 years (Men & Women), 40 years to 59 years (Men & Women), and 60 years and above (Men & Women).
Mr. Panicker felicitated the winners with medals and prizes.
Speaking on the occasion, the GHIAL CEO said, “Hyderabad Airport run is an annual spectacle that brings the communities of the airport & city together with a dash of fitness and fun against the backdrop of the airport’s green environs.
This year around 4000 participants joined the run against 3000 in last year. We are thankful to all the participants, our partners, sponsors and organizers who made this event a grand success.”
