Govt constitutes common recruitment board for universities

Except the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, the recruitment will be done in all 15 State universities by the common board.

Hyderabad: The State government on Thursday constituted a common board for the recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff posts in the State universities.

Except the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, the recruitment will be done in all 15 State universities by the common board.

As part of it, the State government has issued a G.O. 16, constituting the board which will be headed by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education chairman.

Education department Commissioner will act as board convenor while secretaries from education and finance departments will be a part of the members.

Earlier, the State universities used to conduct their own recruitment drive for the appointment of teaching and non-teaching staff.
