Betul: A groom in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district took out marriage procession on bulldozer. Later a case was registered against the driver of JCB and he was fined Rs 5,000.
Instead of a horse or a car, Ankush Jaiswal, a civil engineer, took out his marriage procession on a JCB machine in Jhallar village of Bhainsdehi tehsil in the district on Wednesday.
After some photos and videos of the event went viral on social media, Betul superintendent of police Simala Prasad took cognisance of the viral videos and directed officials to book the JCB driver Ravi Baraskar. He was imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 for violation of the Motor Vehicles Act as JCB machines are meant for commercial use and cannot be used to transport people. PTI reported.
Ankush Jaiswal told that he wanted to make his marriage “a memorable event”.
