Heatwave conditions to prevail in Telangana on Apr 1 & 2

The highest maximum temperature of 41.8 degree Celsius 42 degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad in Telangana.

Hyderabad/Amaravati: Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Kamareddy, Peddapalli and Karimnagar districts of Telangana on April 1 and 2, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

In a bulletin here, it said the maximum temperatures is likely to be above normal by 1-2 degree celsius at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and 2-3 degree Celsius in Rayalaseema during the next three days.

The highest maximum temperature of 41.8 degree Celsius 42 degree Celsius was recorded at Adilabad in Telangana and Kurnool of Rayalaseema in AP on Tuesday, the bulletin said.

The trough or wind discontinuity from South Chhattisgarh to interior Tamil Nadu now runs from interior Odisha to Telangana across Chhattisgarh and extends upto 0.9 km above mean sea level, the bulletin added.
