In Andhra Pradesh, unseasonal rains have already caused significant damage to crops, especially banana plantations in several districts. The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall for Friday and Saturday in districts such as:

  • East Godavari (Tuni, Amalapuram)
  • Anantapur
  • Annamayya
  • Tirupati
