Heavy to extremely heavy rain very likely in Telanana from July 25-27: Met

Heavy to Very Heavy with Extremely Heavy Rain very likely to occur in Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Vikarabad districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said.

In a daily weather report here on Tuesday, It said Heavy to Very Heavy Rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Mancherial, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Jagtial, Rajanna Siricilla, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar districts of the state.


Heavy Rain very likely to occur at few places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana.


Thunderstorm accompanied with lightining and gusty winds with speed of (40-50 kmph) very likely to occur in the state during the same period.


Heavy to Very Heavy with Extremely Heavy Rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Jangaon, Siddipet and Yadadri Bhuvangiri districts of Telangana tomorrow.


Heavy to Very Heavy Rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Nizamabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts of the state.


Heavy Rain very likely to occur at few places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthi, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana.

Heavy to Very Heavy with Extremely Heavy Rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Nizamabad, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Medak and Kamareddy districts of Telangana on July 27.


Heavy to Very Heavy Rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Jagtial,Rajanna Sircilla, Yadadri Bhuvangiri and Vikarabad districts of the state.


Heavy Rain very likely to occur at few places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Rangareddy, Hyderabad and Medchal Malkajigiri districts of Telangana.

Heavy Rain very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts of Telangana on July 28.
Moderate to heavy rain or thundershowers very likely to occur at most places in the state from July 25 to 27.


Light to moderate rain or thundershowers very likely to occur at many places and few places in Telangana from July 28 to 31.


Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous in the state.


Extremely heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Nizamabad and Warangal and Very Heavy rainfall occurred at few places in Hanamakonda, Jangaon, Warangal and at isolated places in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Khammam, Mulugu, Mahabubabad, Nizamabad and heavy rainfall occurred at most places in Mahabubabad and at many places in Hanmakonda, Khammam, Karimnagar and at few places in Jangaon, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Warangal and at isolated places in Hyderabad, Kamareddy, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Rajanna Sircilla, Rangareddy, Suryapet and Vikarabad districts in Telangana during the last 24 hours.


Rain occurred at most places in the state during the same period.


Velpur in Nizamabad) district received extremely heavy rainfall of 40 CM followed by very heavy rainfall in Jakranpalle (Nizamabad district) 23, Bheemgal (Nizamabad district) 23 and Sangem (Warangal district) 22.
