ANPR Cameras to Automatically Detect Violations

Speaking at the launch event, Superintendent of Police (SP) Paritosh Pankaj explained that the high-definition ANPR cameras would track vehicle movements 24/7. These cameras can capture number plates and identify traffic violators automatically, enabling the traffic department to impose fines without manual intervention.

Adaptive Signal Timings for Better Traffic Flow

The SP also highlighted a key feature of the new system: flexible signal timings. These traffic lights can be adjusted in real-time based on the changing flow of traffic, ensuring better regulation during peak hours and special events.

Officials Present at the Inauguration

The inauguration event was attended by several officials, including DSP Sattaiah Goud, Traffic Inspector Suman, and other members of the police department, who all praised the initiative as a step toward smart city infrastructure in Sangareddy.
