Huzurabad Sub-Jail Deputy Jailor, Petrol Bunk Operator Held in ₹10,000 Bribe Case

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) allegedly caught Huzurabad Sub-Jail Deputy Jailor Nampally Devender and petrol bunk operator Ravula Harish in connection with a ₹10,000 bribery case.

Huzurabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) allegedly caught Huzurabad Sub-Jail Deputy Jailor Nampally Devender and petrol bunk operator Ravula Harish in connection with a ₹10,000 bribery case.

According to the ACB, the bribe was allegedly demanded in exchange for providing better facilities to a prisoner, facilitating mulakhaths (meetings with visitors), and preventing the prisoner from being transferred to Khammam Jail.

The ACB reportedly caught the two individuals while allegedly accepting the bribe. Further investigation is underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged demand and acceptance of the money.
