Hyderabad: On Monday, GHMC Commissioner Amrapali Kata instructed officials to closely monitor the attendance of Swachh Autos operating on city roads. In a teleconference, she directed Zonal Commissioners to keep detailed records of absenteeism and ensure that Swachh Autos adhere to their schedules.
Commissioner Kata emphasized that Swachh Autos should collect garbage from commercial areas exclusively at night. Serilingampally Zonal Commissioner Upender Reddy has been tasked with developing a sanitation role model.
Additionally, the Commissioner directed the Additional Commissioner (UCD) to review parking rates at cinema theatres. Addressing illegal constructions will also be a priority for senior officials.
The Commissioner urged officials to expedite the tender process for constructing large sumps and instructed them to share daily updates on dengue cases with the head office.
