Hyderabad: Missing diamond necklace of Congress leader’s wife worth Rs 46.6 lakh found

Hyderabad: The diamond necklace worth Rs 46.6 lakh which went missing from Congress senior leader Dr KVP Ramachandra Rao’s residence has been found.

Informing the police that her necklace has been found in their kitchen, Rao’s wife withdrew the complaint. India Today reported.

Rao’s wife Suneetha had lodged a complaint stating that a diamond necklace worth Rs.46.6 lakh was stolen by unidentified persons from their residence at Banjara Hills Road No.2.

She told that she had kept the ornament back in the almirah after wearing it for a function on May 11. However she found the diamond necklace missing on Monday, while other ornaments were present.

The family had suspected four of their servants, who have access to their bedroom.

 However, the necklace was found in the kitchen within 12 hours of the complaint being filed.
