Jamuna Hatcheries Encroached Assigned Land: Medak District Collector

He further said that the hatcheries had constructed large sheds without taking any permissions and added that the hatcheries had also got registered the lands kept in prohibited list .

Hyderabad: Medak District Collector Harish today said that Jamuna hatcheries, owned by former Minister and BJP MLA Eatala Rajender’s wife Jamuna, encroached upon 70.33 acres of assigned land in the district. He said that it was found during the survey conducted by them.

Speaking to media persons on the issue, he said that the hatcheries had encroached upon the assigned lands belonging to 56 assignees and added that the encroachment took place in Achampet and Hakimpet villages of Masaipet Mandal of the district.

He also said that the hatcheries had used the encroached assigned lands for non agricultural purposes.

He further said that the hatcheries had constructed large sheds without taking any permissions and added that the hatcheries had also got registered the lands kept in prohibited list .

The collector said that the hatcheries had violated Walta act and cut off trees in forest area. He said that they found that the poultry was releasing pollution from its premises.

He said that they had sent a report on the issue to the state government and added that they would take action against those officials who had extended support to those who committed the irregularities.

He said that they would submit a report to the state government to do justice to the victims of the encroachments. He said that the survey numbers from 77 to 82 from Achampet and Hakimpet villages and Survey numbers 97 and 130 located on the outskirts of Hakimpet have ceiling lands.
