BRS leaders are protesting against these remarks of Revant Reddy at different places in the state.
As part of this, Kavitha along with MLA Nagendra participated in the protest held at Vidyut Sudha in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, he urged Revant Reddy to apologize for these remarks.
He said that during the Congress rule for 60 years, the farmers faced difficulties, but after the formation of Telangana, we have become an example for the country with the welfare policies of the farmers.
There is no scheme like Raito Bandhu anywhere in the country. Various states are emulating the Raito Bandhu scheme introduced by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Water, good seeds and fertilizers are essential for the development of agriculture sector.
27.5 lakh farmers in Telangana depend on bore wells. We have increased the water level from Mission Kakatiya and Kaleswaram projects, so all the bores are filled with water.
We are giving free electricity to these bores.
They demanded that Revanth Reddy should apologize to the farmers immediately.
He said that the farmers faced severe hardships during the rule of Telugu Desam and Congress.
