KTR Files Defamation Suit against Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: TRS Working President and Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, IT and Industries, K. Tarak Rama Rao invoked legal process and filed a suit for defamation and injunction in the court, against the false propaganda and personal vilification by the Opposition parties in the State.
In his tweet K Tarak Rama Rao said that “I have invoked the legal process and filed a suit for defamation and injunction before the Honourable High Court. I am confident that the Court process will clinchingly vindicate and falsity of the canards and lies spread against me and the culprits will be brought to book appropriately, he tweeted.
The TRS working president also expressed his readiness to undergo any test and even travel to AIIMS in Delhi if AICC former President Rahul Gandhi was willing to join him for drug analysis tests. He was responding to TPCC President A. Revanth Reddy’s challenge to undergo a drug analysis test.
“I am ready for any test and will travel to AIIMS Delhi if Rahul Gandhi is willing to join. It’s below my dignity to do it with Cherlapally Jail alumni “, Rama Rao tweeted.
He also asked Revanth Reddy that if he (KTR) takes the test and gets a clean chit will he (Revanth Reddy) apologize and quit his posts. He also questioned whether the TPCC President was willing to undergo a lie detector test on the Note for Vote case.
It may be recalled that earlier Revanth Reddy challenged K Taraka Rama Rao to undergo drug analysis tests along with him and former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy as part of his Challenge to create awareness in the youth on increasing drug menace in the country. (Munsif News Bureau)
